What is a prerequisite? 

Registration Holds – Make sure to take care of any registration holds before your registration date! 

Registration (Advisor) hold – you will need to meet with your academic advisor to have this hold removed.
Unsigned student agreement – Log back into MyUI.  On the first page click “review the form”.  Follow directions and sign form to have this hold removed.

The Economics Student Association has put together a panel of experts on Housing issues to discuss housing policy and affordability, with a special emphasis on student housing.

Last day to add a class without Dean’s approval is Monday, January 30th.

The beginning of the semester is a great time to meet with your academic advisor!  Want to discuss information about a specific business major, adding a certificate, your upcoming summer internship, or desire to study abroad?  The early weeks of the semester are a great time to schedule an appointment!  Discussing your plan early also helps avoid the busy advising time around registration.

Drop/ Deadline – TODAY!

The date to drop a course this semester is this TODAY, Monday, April 4th at 11:59pm.   Dropping a course now will result in receiving a “W” on your transcript.  Here are directions on how to drop a course through MyUI.  Today is

The drop deadline change does not apply to off-cycle courses. If your course is shorter than a full semester, you can view the drop deadlines for that course at the Registrar’s Course Deadline Lookup.

Tippie Faculty Webinar: Breaking the Imposter Syndrome

Friday, March 25, 12:00 noon CST via Zoom

Many people experience the so-called “impostor syndrome” despite their success in the workplace. It holds them back from pursuing challenging opportunities, leads to overworking and burnout, and takes a huge emotion toll. Tippie Assistant Professor of Management Rong Su will highlight how you can overcoming barriers to career success by challenging existing conceptions and establishing a renewed understanding about the impostor experience.
