Bio: Throughout a span of 7 academic semesters, I have been actively engaged in the Women in Business (WIB) organization. My roles prior to becoming President have included serving as the Vice President of External Relations and fulfilling responsibilities as a Lean-In Circle Leader. The prospect of assuming leadership responsibilities for an exceptional group of women and fostering the growth of Women in Business at the University of Iowa is one that I approach with enthusiasm.
In the coming year, I anticipate leveraging WIB as a platform for numerous professional opportunities. The organization’s capacity to enhance and facilitate such opportunities aligns seamlessly with my aspirations. One aspect that particularly resonates with me is the privilege of connecting with like-minded women who share similar goals and passions within the dynamic WIB community. Bio: I have been in WIB for 6 going on 7 semesters now. Before becoming Vice President, I was the VP of Community Service for a year. This semester I am looking forward to March which is Women’s History Month and International Women’s day. It is the perfect opportunity to celebrate WIB and women in our community. My favorite thing about our organization is the sense of excitement and self-confidence I feel while attending events. I feel like I can do anything I set my mind to after being in a room with so many empowering women. Some fun facts about me are that I love acting and am going to be in a 10 minute play this semester. I am also planning an eighteen day trip to Europe with my mom and sister. It will be our first time going to Europe together! 🙂
