Bio: This is my fourth semester in WIB and my third semester on the executive board. Previously, I had the privilege of serving as Vice President of Events, which provided me with valuable experience in organizing and facilitating bonding. Now, I’m honored to take on the role of Vice President. One of the most rewarding parts of this role has been working with local businesses to give back to the Iowa Women’s Foundation and supporting their mission. I also had the privilege of attending their annual luncheon which was an inspiring experience. One of my favorite things about WIB is the community of supportive and empowering women who are members. Outside of WIB, I enjoy exploring new restaurants, trying different coffee spots, and seeking out new experiences. I also have a passion for staying active through workouts or other fun activities. After graduation, I plan to move back home and work in Chicago!

Bio: I have been in WIB for 4 semesters. I am thrilled to be the VP of Internal Relations since it is my first roll I will hold in WIB. I am most excited to understand all that goes into this well organized, respectable student organization. I am also ready to build a culture of community within the members of WIB. My favorite part of WIB is the pride every individual holds regarding their education, relationships, and career. Some fun facts about myself are I have been to 13 countries with my family and my grandpa was the captain of the US men’s national soccer team. Go Hawks!

Bio: I have proudly been a member of Women in Business (WIB) for three semesters, and my passion for the organization’s impactful work has only deepened over time. This enthusiasm has inspired me to run for the position of VP of Finance, where I believe I can make a meaningful contribution. I am particularly excited about the pro-trip, which offers an exceptional opportunity to network not only with companies but also with fellow WIB members. One of my favorite aspects of WIB is learning about the diverse stories and aspirations of our members. Beyond WIB, I serve as the Vice President of Membership for Kappa Kappa Gamma. In my free time, I enjoy running and practicing Pilates. As graduation approaches, I am looking forward to relocating to the West Coast to pursue a career in private wealth management.

Bio: This is my second year in WIB and I’m excited to be a part of this semester’s executive board! My favorite part of WIB is connecting with other likeminded women and being able to see so many familiar faces around campus. A fun fact about me is I was a competitive dancer for 10 years!

I’ve been a member of Women in Business since my first semester of sophomore year, and I’ve always appreciated how WIB has been a safe and supportive space to learn and grow as a woman in the business field. This year, as the new VP of Community Service, I’m excited to make a meaningful impact on the Iowa City community and connect with more incredible women within the organization!

Bio: I have been in WIB for six semesters and am so excited for all the events I have planned for the fall. Women in Business has shaped so much of my college experience, and now I get to create those same opportunities for our members. Bio: Hi everyone! My name is Adriana Plascencia. This semester will be my second one in WIB and I am extremely excited to plan events that will focus on reducing our environmental impact and that members will enjoy! My favorite thing about WIB is that it provides many opportunities for members to further their professional development! A couple fun facts about me are that I grew up playing soccer and I love it! I also really enjoy arts and crafts!
