Bio: I have been in WIB for 3 semesters. Before being elected president, I served as the VP of Community Service for 2 semesters. I am very excited to provide as many opportunities as possible for our members. The executive board and I are hoping to grow WIB and provide opportunities for personal and professional development. We have some super exciting events this semester that I am so excited to share! I love WIB so much, but I think my favorite part has been getting to know so many people. I have developed several friendships and meet such amazing people through WIB. It’s really just a group of like-minded strong women working towards the same goal. I am from the Ice Cream Capital of the World! I spend my summers in northern Wisconsin working as an orthodontic assistant! After graduation I plan to attend a smaller university for a 5th year to take some extra science classes before applying to dental school! Eventually I plan to go to dental school.

Bio: This is my fourth semester in WIB and my third semester on the executive board. Previously, I had the privilege of serving as Vice President of Events, which provided me with valuable experience in organizing and facilitating bonding. Now, I’m honored to take on the role of Vice President. One of the most rewarding parts of this role has been working with local businesses to give back to the Iowa Women’s Foundation and supporting their mission. I also had the privilege of attending their annual luncheon which was an inspiring experience. One of my favorite things about WIB is the community of supportive and empowering women who are members. Outside of WIB, I enjoy exploring new restaurants, trying different coffee spots, and seeking out new experiences. I also have a passion for staying active through workouts or other fun activities. After graduation, I plan to move back home and work in Chicago!

Bio: I have proudly been a member of Women in Business (WIB) for three semesters, and my passion for the organization’s impactful work has only deepened over time.
