The Career Center offers academic courses on topics such as exploring careers and majors, researching graduate school, professional and life skill development, and for the Certificate in Leadership Studies. Some courses are available online, others in-person, and some are a hybrid combination of both. They carry 1 to 3 hours of academic credit. Gain an overview of relevant history, theory, and practice of women in effective leadership.
LS:2020 Women in Leadership
Overview of relevant history, theory, and practice of women in effective leadership; women leaders from historical to modern times; focus on exploring obstacles and challenges faced by women in leadership and how people of all genders can work to overcome these barriers. This course also counts toward the Certificate in Leadership Studies.

CAREER TREK: FBI
Sign up for our very first virtual CAREER TREK! On April 28th, members of the FBI will be joining us virtually to discuss what it’s like to work for the Federal Bureau of Investigations. Great for everyone, especially those interested in criminology, forensics, and data security!
Career Treks are designed to give you a practical understanding of daily life in a field of interest and the best way to successfully find a career in that field. Participating students will have the opportunity to expand your professional network, learn more about potential jobs and internships, and find out whether a particular career field matches you interests, skills, and values.
