Tutors Wanted!
The Frank Center is still recruiting tutors for 2022-2023! Tutors get course and RISE credit and a scholarship that begins in their second semester of tutoring. The experience looks great on a resume, too, and many of our graduating tutors note that Center experience helped differentiate them from other candidates in internship and job interviews. Congratulations to the 2021 Prappas Ethics Essay Competition Winners!
The Frank Center is thrilled to announce the winners of the Mary Thomas Prappas Ethics Essay Contest! The first prize winner is Eric Bregenzer, followed by Andrew Gippert in second, and Maureen Eberle in third. Their essays were selected out of hundreds of entries from Tippie’s undergraduate Introduction to Law course, and each student will receive a scholarship for their work. Norman J. Kallaus Scholarship Winner Announced
Tippie marketing major Anna Vonderhaar has won the Norman J. Kallaus Spring 2021 scholarship. This award, established in 2020, is named in honor of Dr. Kallaus, Professor Emeritus in the Department of Management and Entrepreneurship. Dr. Kallaus was an advocate for strong communication skills in Tippie students and spent his career pursuing that priority. BCaP students who display exemplary communication skills are invited by their instructors to apply for this scholarship each fall and spring. This semester, the contestants each submitted a 90 second “elevator pitch” to a company of their choice. The Frank Center congratulates Anna on receiving this prestigious award.
