Frank Center tutoring starts this week!

Want someone to look over that writing or presentation assignment that’s due soon? If you’re a Tippie student, you can take ANY writing, speaking, or slide assignment to a Frank Center tutor, and they can make sure you’re on the right track. No matter whether you’re still brainstorming, reorganizing your ideas, or putting on finishing touches, our specially trained communication tutors can be your second pair of eyes. Make an appointment or just drop in! We’re located on the third floor, right next to the BizHub. Open Monday – Thursday 10 AM – 5 PM, and Friday 10 AM – 4 PM.

Congratulations to the Eller Ethics Competition Team!

The Tippie student team of Paul Eikenberry, Izzie Wilcox, and alternate/researcher Gabby Kilpatrick took first place in the essay portion of the 2022 Collegiate Eller Ethics Case Competition. They also won second place overall in the case competition. Paul and Izzie received a new laptop for their case competition placement and $100 each for the essay contest win. Do you enjoy helping other students? Did you think the BCaP report deck was kind of…fun? Apply to be a Frank Center consultant! Consultants tutor other Tippie students in writing, presentation, and design assignments. They get course and RISE credit, as well as a scholarship after the first semester. Congratulations to the 2021 Prappas Ethics Essay Competition Winners!

The Frank Center is thrilled to announce the winners of the Mary Thomas Prappas Ethics Essay Contest! The first prize winner is Eric Bregenzer, followed by Andrew Gippert in second, and Maureen Eberle in third. Their essays were selected out of hundreds of entries from Tippie’s undergraduate Introduction to Law course, and each student will receive a scholarship for their work. BCaP Internal Memo Workshops

Taking BCaP? The Frank Business Communication Center will be hosting two workshops for the Internal Memo assignment next week. The first one will be on Monday, October 4 at 2 PM in PBB S401, and other will be on Tuesday, October 5 at 3:30 PM, also in PBB S401. Both workshops will cover the same material. Experienced students will provide advice about how to do your best on this assignment! No advance signup required.

Ethics Essay and Management Team Project Workshops

Taking Intro to Law or Intro to Management? The Frank Center will be hosting two workshops next week: one for the Ethics Essay assignment and one for the Team Project #1 assignment. The Ethics Essay workshop will take place today, September 27 at 2 PM in PBB S401. The Team Project #1 workshop will take place tomorrow, September 28 at 2:15 PM, also in PBB S401. Experienced students will provide advice about how to do your best on these assignments! No advance signup required.
