Final projects and presentations are due soon – take all your writing, presentation, and slide deck assignments to the peer tutors at the Frank Center. They can be your second pair of eyes before you submit that paper or give that presentation. We’re open every weekday from 10-5 (10-4 on Fridays), and walk-ins are welcome! Congratulations to the Eller Ethics Competition Team!

The Tippie student team of Paul Eikenberry, Izzie Wilcox, and alternate/researcher Gabby Kilpatrick took first place in the essay portion of the 2022 Collegiate Eller Ethics Case Competition. They also won second place overall in the case competition. Paul and Izzie received a new laptop for their case competition placement and $100 each for the essay contest win. BCaP Report Deck Workshop

The first submission of the BCaP Report Deck is due this week! Frank Center tutors will be running two workshops this week to help you do your best. The workshops will take place on Tuesday, March 22 and Wednesday, March 23, both in W401 PBB at 2 PM. There will be lots of time for individual questions. The same material will be covered on both days. See you there!

Tutors Wanted!

The Frank Center is still recruiting tutors for 2022-2023! Tutors get course and RISE credit and a scholarship that begins in their second semester of tutoring. The experience looks great on a resume, too, and many of our graduating tutors note that Center experience helped differentiate them from other candidates in internship and job interviews. Plus, it’s fun! Contact by February 28.

Consultants tutor other Tippie students in writing, presentation, and design assignments. They get course and RISE credit, as well as a scholarship after the first semester. The Frank Business Communication Center opens on January 24! Located on the third floor in the BizHub, Frank Center peer consultants can help you with communication and writing assignments for any Tippie class. We can provide feedback at any stage of the assignment, from brainstorming and drafting to revising and polishing. We help with resumes, personal statements, and interview prep too!

Congratulations to the 2021 Prappas Ethics Essay Competition Winners!

The Frank Center is thrilled to announce the winners of the Mary Thomas Prappas Ethics Essay Contest! The first prize winner is Eric Bregenzer, followed by Andrew Gippert in second, and Maureen Eberle in third. Their essays were selected out of hundreds of entries from Tippie’s undergraduate Introduction to Law course, and each student will receive a scholarship for their work.
