Intuitive Eating workshops
Interested in changing your relationship with food? Intuitive Eating is an approach that teaches you how to create a healthy relationship with your food, mind, and body. Student Wellness offers a 4-week Intuitive Eating workshop for students each semester. They also offer free, one-on-one Intuitive Eating consultations. Check out their website for more information!
Mindfulness workshops
Mindfulness is the practice being fully aware of the present moment (our thoughts, feelings, bodily sensations, and environment), with a nonjudgmental stance of curiosity. It is associated with improvements in physical health, mental health, and overall well-being. Interested in learning more, or looking for new ways to manage stress? Check out Student Wellness’s Koru Mindfulness Workshops, a 4-week series using an evidence-based curriculum for college students.

Student Care and Assistance – Basic Needs and Support for Students
Student Care & Assistance provides assistance to University of Iowa students experiencing a variety of crisis and emergency situations, including but not limited to medical issues, family emergencies, unexpected challenges, and sourcing basic needs such as food and shelter.
