Isaac Prewitt
I am currently in my last semester pursuing a Master of Finance degree at the University of Iowa. I previously earned my bachelor’s degrees in both Marketing (Professional Sales and Management) and Finance at the University of Iowa. I currently work for the University of Iowa Women’s Basketball team as one of the team Managers. This job has provided me the opportunity to learn different leadership and workplace skills from some of the best coaches in the country while being a part of a championship program. This past summer, I had the chance to work as a summer intern for Sammons Financial Group in West Des Moines, Iowa. During my time there, I worked with both Sammons Retirement Solutions and Midland Retirement Distributors with their annuity sales. While there, I learned valuable lessons from my coworkers and mentors in how to find the best solutions for our clients’ needs. I have also had the privilege of participating in several organizations and groups on campus and in the Iowa City community such as Alpha Kappa Psi, intramural leagues, Recreational Services, and others. After my graduation in May, I will pursue a professional career that is focused around leading and motivating others in a teamwork environment, while also being in a goal-oriented and performance driven industry.
