The American Advertising Federation, otherwise known as the AAF, is a national organization that has over 200 chapters across the U.S. and 5000+ student members. The AAF provides valuable insights into the world of advertising, connections and even internship and job opportunities that will help propel one’s advertising career!
The University of Iowa’s chapter of the AAF is an organization open to all students at Iowa, and dedicated to providing its members with educational, professional, and networking opportunities within the world of advertising!
We strive to provide these types of opportunities by bringing in advertising professionals to give presentations, going on professional trips to visit agencies and attend career fairs in the biggest advertising hubs in the nation, and by participating in the National Student Advertising Competition.
There is currently no advertising major at the University of Iowa, let alone classes focused on advertising, so we want to help interested students get a leg up on the competition.
