Big 10 Women’s Business Connection

Mission:

The Big 10 Women’s Business Connection aims to foster collaboration among “Women in Business” organizations across the Big 10 Network in order for all organizations to develop professionally, empower their members, expand their networks, and reach their full potential.

The WIB Executive board travels to this inaugural event every January. The University of Iowa Women in Business elected President is also the Grand Chapter President of the Big 10 Women’s Business Connection. At the conference, executive board members are given the experience to meet other Big 10 Women in Business organizations, learn about their initiatives, and work together on forming the Big 10 Women’s Business Connection.

In addition to the Big 10 Women’s Business Connection Conference, the Grand Chapter President conducts a monthly conference call to Women in Business organizations throughout the Big 10. On the conference calls, executive boards learn about how other organizations recruit and retain members, build and maintain their corporate partnerships, and develop their general membership.

The First Annual Big 10 Women’s Business Connection Conference was held  in January of 2015 at the Google Headquarters in Chicago, Illinois.
