Undergrad Major: Accounting

Hometown: Scandia, Minnesota, USA

Current Employment: I work as a CPA on the finance team at Sport Ngin – a software platform powering the youth and amateur sports ecosystem.  I build financial statements, discover trends in how athletes use our products, and share findings with the company.  I enjoy the agile, creative and open environment at Sport Ngin, as there are virtually no barriers to take action with new ideas. I like the fun culture, kind people, and inspiring stories.

Why I chose Tippie: I was searching for an exciting and challenging program with a vibrant personality and genuine people. The Finance career academy seems to be strong, and I am intrigued by the forward-thinking developments with the Business Analytics academy. The Tippie MBA has a real tight-knit and ambitious feel, which will make it fun and worthwhile to engage in.  I couldn’t be more excited to jump in!

What are you looking forward to most about living in Iowa City? It will be a neat experience living in a true college town.
