Our mission is to provide unbiased financial education, guidance and advice for our readers – primarily the citizens of Iowa – as a free public service.
The heart of the website is the Basic Principles module – it’s the book we would have written, had not the web offered easier access. We’ve put links among the subjects so you can skip through it according to your interests. The module contains the basic principles for managing your wealth, as well as our views on how those principles are best applied. For example, we give our views on “maximize your wealth” as an objective – we think it’s the biggest mistake you can make.
The website also contains an Articles module with short pieces on particular subjects of current interest. The User Guide provides more guidance relating to this component as well as the other parts of the website.
