Position: Service Activation Tech

Location: Hiawatha, Iowa

Terms: Long-Term Open Ended Contract

 

Technician I. Srv Activation will have technical expertise in both the following technology areas:

  • Basic Data (internet) and Basic Voice (TDM, VOIP line/trunk).
  • Successfully prioritizes install workload, ensures order tasks have been completed at least 24 hours prior to install, and completes installation.
  • Directly accesses network elements to support configuration work required.
  • Ability to configure, troubleshoot, and resolve any customer facing product or technology trouble in that respective discipline.

Must Have:

  • Strong Internet Protocol concepts
  • IP routing experience
  • Troubleshooting problems on Cisco network
  • TDM, Frame Relay or ATM
  • LAN/WAN experience
  • Troubleshooting VOIP or Data networks
