New Student Profile: Zach Daul

Editor’s Note: This is part of a series of profiles we’ll be posting over the summer to introduce everyone to our incoming Class of 2014. Enjoy getting to know our new students as they get to know each other, our current students, staff, and the entire Tippie community!

Sporting his Green Bay Packer colors, Zach is pictured with his wife, Holly.

Zach Daul

Hometown: Green Bay, Wisconsin, USA

Undergrad institution: University of Wisconsin Stevens Point

Major: Business Administration, Minor in Spanish

Current city: Appleton, Wisconsin

Current employment: I spent the last year as a public relations and communications specialist for Bellin Health, a regional health care system based in Green Bay. I helped plan the Bellin Run, a 10K road race with more than 18,000 registrants. I was the marketing project manager for the implementation of a multimillion dollar electronic medical records system. Bellin is the official health care provider of the Green Bay Packers, and I had the pleasure of working closely with the Packers on several community events.

Why I chose Tippie: I chose Tippie because of its strong program, excellent job placement rates, and great reputation.

Something unique about me: I am an avid sports fan, closely following my home state teams, the Green Bay Packers and Milwaukee Brewers. What I love most about sport is statistics, but not just average statistics like batting average or on-base percentage. I love off-the-wall statistics like batting average with runners in scoring position in a two-strike count on Wednesdays.

Editor’s note #2 — I’m “green” with envy at the fact that Zach got to work closely with my favorite NFL team, the Green Bay Packers!  Go Pack Go! :)
