Current city: McHenry, Illinois

Current employment: I’m the Associate Marketing Manager for a law office that specializes in Real Estate transactions. We’re best known for negotiating real estate tax bills. Every day is a little bit different for me. One of my main responsibilities is coming up with ways to get data about potential markets, analyzing that data and strategically picking campaigns. I’ve been very successful at targeting specific market segments and have developed a consistent high return of interest.

The other half of my job is court work. Because our office works in four counties, often times I’m negotiating deals with the county government on my own. During negotiations I get to flex my debate, presentation and strategy skills. I’ve personally negotiated reductions valued at more than 7 million dollars.

Why I chose Tippie: When I got into Tippie I was asking around on what I should do, and someone gave me some great advice. She said, “Pick the school that is willing to do the most to get you there, because they’re the ones that will be most willing to help you when you are there.” It pretty much sums up my experience with the Tippie staff perfectly. Everyone is so dedicated to helping, you know if it is the right fit for you and to help you make the right decision. I’m very excited about working with a staff so determined to making their students success stories.

Something unique about me: I initially started undergrad with a focus on Music Business, so I know a little bit about just about every aspect of music. I also ran a 30+ member radio station and put on a weekly radio show.
