Current employment: I just finished a year as an assistant sports information director for Pacific University in Forest Grove, Oregon. I was the main contact for 11 different athletic programs, meaning I wrote the stories and press releases following an athletic events and throughout the week and reported results to the conference and NCAA. I also redesigned recruiting brochures to help coaches make Pacific athletics more appealing to their recruits.
Why she chose Tippie: I chose Tippie because it would allow me to move back to Iowa, but also because it is a strong program with a good reputation.
Something unique about Sara: I love traveling and visiting new places. I have a goal of visiting every state and am currently at 35, have celebrated my birthday in 5 different states and have traveled through 15 this year.
