The 2012-2013 Henry Fund analysts have been selected. Students will begin managing the fund when they return for spring semester classes in January. The endowed fund was named after its two founding benefactors, Henry Royer and Henry B. Tippie, who wanted students to experience a blend of academic rigor and real-world portfolio management experience. Tippie’s student-managed investment portfolio is one of the best in the country, and competition to be among those who manage it is fierce.
The application includes two parts: first, an equity research report with an investment recommendation (buy or sell), complete with a company valuation, target price, and data that back up the choice. Second, applicants prepare a presentation of their research to a panel of outgoing Henry Fund analysts and Henry Fund alumni. Below is a list of students who made this prestigious group.
