Change Drive
Several faculty members have volunteered to participate in a faculty dunk tank. To determine who gets dunked and who wins immunity, we're conducting a change drive.Beginning Friday, March 2, students will be staffing tables outside W151 from 10am to 2pm so that you can cast your votes by dropping your spare change, or your spare bills, in the container representing the faculty you would most like to see dunked. The faculty member with the lowest amount of money in their container at the end of the change drive will win immunity.
Dinner at Diamond Dave's
Student volunteers will be waiting tables at Diamond Dave's on Tuesday evening, March 27. All tips and 10% of the sales will go toward the Tippie Build.
Have a great meal and support the Tippie Build at the same time. Show your waitstaff how much you appreciate what they are doing. 100% of your tips will go toward the build.
Remember to mention the Tippie Build so that your business is credited to our fundraising drive.
Buy a "House" to Help the Tippie Build Project Henry B. Tippie's first contribution to the University of Iowa was $5. Since that time, he has repeatedly shared his generousity with the University of Iowa and the College of Business. In tribute to his continuing generousity, we're collecting $5 donations to support the Tippie Build. Each donor will put their name on a "Tippie House" (much like the March of Dimes sneakers you see in the grocery store). These houses will hang in the Pappajohn Business Building to celebrate how much we can accomplish by working together.
Students in the College are collecting donations for the Tippie Build at tables outside Pat's Diner. These donations are delivered to the Habitat office each week. Watch the kiosks in the building to see when these tables are staffed.
If you are unable to visit the Business building to purchase a house for display, but would still like to do so, contact derek-kimmerle@uiowa.edu.
Imagine how big an impact these small individual gifts can make. If every Tippie College student and pre-business student purchases a house, we would be more than 1/3 of the way to meeting our goal.
AMA TippieWear Sales Benefit The House that Tippie Built
The University of
Iowa chapter of the American Marketing Association (AMA) is selling TippieWear, t-shirts, polos, and
sweatshirts featuring the Tippie College of Business logo.
Every penny of profit earned on those sales is donated to the Tippie Build project.

Donate Directly to Habitat Our donation page provides instructions for donating directly to Iowa Valley Habitat for Humanity. Please be sure to indicate "Tippie Build" on your donation so that the funds are earmarked for our build.
