Our Purpose:

Provide a forum to facilitate the development of entrepreneurial innovation and creativity through the exchange of ideas, experiences and knowledge across all academic disciplines at The University of Iowa. We further believe that members gain value by engaging in activities that foster community and civic engagement and promote the entrepreneurial spirit.

Promoting Entrepreneurship:

Through networking, guest speakers, and workshops we work to promote entrepreneurship learning and activity. We are also operating a business within the club which is currently selling fleeces but is expected to soon expand to other apparel.

Students In Free Enterprise (SIFE):

SIFE brings together a diverse network of university students, academic professionals and industry leaders around the shared mission of creating a better, more sustainable world through the positive power of business. By contributing their talents to projects that improve the lives of people worldwide, SIFE participants are demonstrating that individuals with a knowledge and passion for business can be a powerful force for change.

Social Entrepreneurship:

Wild Bill's Charity Golf Tournament
- A fundraising opporunity for Uptown Bill's, a project of the Extend the Dream Foundation (EDF) which assist persons with disabilities to operate small businesses. This event takes place in the spring and is a great opportunity to network with local business leaders, faculty, and peers while donating money to a great cause!

Uptown Bill's Volunteering
- Most of the volunteering for I-Envision takes place at The Vintage Shoppe. Volunteers assist the owner and employees with various activities including cleaning the store, arranging the merchandise, and developing marketing strategies. In addition to Wild Bill's Charity Golf Tournament volunteers organize other fundraisers for The Vintage Shoppe throughout each semester.

Youth Programs
- We work closely with Junior Achievement in teaching children the importance of entrepreneurship. Volunteers spend time teaching students the basics of owning a business and eventually help the students in starting their own "business" by selling goods such as ice cream or bracelets.
