FMA will be hosting our  2nd annual “Mocktail” during the next meeting Oct. 19^th. Attending the “Mocktail” will be over ten financial representatives from local/national companies such as Ameriprise financial, Northwestern Mutual, Hills Bank, Aegon, and many others. All companies will be there to network with UI students as well as give  insight or answer questions about their jobs or company .The “Mocktail” is a great place to meet possible employers for internships/jobs as well as work on your networking and social skills. This event is open to ALL U.I. students, so if you have a friend that is curious about the event, bring him/her along!! There will also be tons of food and snacks, so come hungry! We please ask that you come in business casual dress. FREE to ALL U.I. students

First Meeting Information!!

 The first meeting will be from 7:30-9:00 in S401 PBB.  We have a guest speaker from Ameriprise financial coming in to speak to us during the meeting. Also during the meeting, we will introduce all the FMA officers and inform potential members what our organization is all about. We do ask that if you plan to attend, to please wear business casual clothes. FMA Meetings

Meetings are bi-weekly (every other week) on Monday nights, usually from 8-9 pm. We do request that members come dressed in business casual clothes. Free food will provided almost every meeting as well as other planned activities.

Membership fees are as follows.

Nation Membership fee (required)- $35

Local Chapter Membership fee- $25

If possible, we would prefer checks for the national fee and cash for the local fee, thank you

(Local fee’s go towards the purchasing of food for meetings, planned activities, and the professional trip)
