June 2008 International Program - Italy

The University of Iowa MBA for Professionals and Managers is pleased to announce the opportunity for you to join an International Program in Italy June 13-22, 2008.  The College has entered into a strategic partnership with a hosting institution - CIMBA. This program is designed as an international educational experience with the goal of exposing MBA students to doing business internationally with the focus on the Veneto region of Italy.

Here is the pertinent information regarding the course:

Location: Asolo, Italy
Dates: 

Pre Course (including pre-departure orientation): May 31, 2008, 9:30-3:30 in Iowa City
June 13-22, 2008 in Italy
Post Course: July 12 9:30-4:00 in Iowa City
Cost:

Program Fee TBD (in range of $1800 - $2200) includes:
- 8 night hotel accomodations in Asolo, Italy
- All breakfasts, 5 lunches, 3 dinners
- Day Tour of Venice
- Airport welcome transportaion
- Arrangements and transportation to/from 5 or more professional visits
- Airfare not included in program fee

Tuition $1530

Course:

6J:246 International Management - 3 semester hours of credit (can be used as equivalent to the new 6N:223 Global Strategy core course)

June 15-21 - Professional visits, cultural experiences and class time in Asolo and Veneto Region

July 12 – Saturday post-course in Iowa City

8 nights double occ. rooms at the Duse Hotel or Albergo al Sole

Single Rooms Available for an additional charge (tbd).

Registration for this course is currently open via EMBARC. Commitment Forms and $500 deposits will be due on Friday, March 14.
