Henry Fund Achieves 3rd Consecutive
Top RISE Award
Managers of the Henry Fund, the University of Iowa's award-winning student managed investment portfolio, believe the U.S. economy has slipped into recession, but that it should be short-lived and followed by a recovery marked by slow growth six months from now.
The fund was recently honored for the third consecutive year as the best fund in its class at the national convention of Redefining Investment Strategy Education, held in March at the University of Dayton. The conference is the largest of its type in the country, attracting 2,300 graduate and undergraduate students to learn more about markets, finance and investments.
The Henry Fund, which returned 12.5 percent in 2007, was named tops in the Graduate Large Cap Growth Equity category, adjusted for risk.
