The Tippie College of Business MIS program provides students the opportunity to learn about the exciting field of Information Technology. There are several required courses accompanied by a number of electives. These pages will provide you with information about the major and how to proceed to earn a degree in this area. In our program, students will:

• Analyze business processes to determine information requirements and then create business solutions
• Learn to design and develop database applications making data available in the most appropriate manner such as web access
• Develop skills that will solve network infrastructure problems including networking computers and telecommunication systems as well as providing security for such systems.
• Bring management skills to manage information technology projects
