The department anticipates one open faculty position at the assistant professor level for Fall 2008.  We invite applications in Management Information Systems (database, machine learning, data mining, knowledge management), Operations Management (supply chain, logistics, lean manufacturing), and Quantitative Methods/Operations Research (optimization, statistics).

Candidates for tenure-track assistant professor should have a PhD in OM, OR, CS, IE, or a related field and exhibit exceptional research promise.  Extensive collaborative opportunities across departments and colleges are available.  Current interdisciplinary efforts include the areas of computational biology, medical decision making, and marketing research.  Interest and ability in teaching at all levels (undergraduate, MBA, and doctoral) is necessary.
