Company Visit to Nardini

This afternoon my CIMBA class took a field trip to visit the corporate offices and production facility of Nardini, a grappa distillery located in Bassano del Grappa. Nardini has produced grappa since 1779 and has been a family-owned business for seven generations. Our host for the corporate tour was Michigan native, Sharla Ault, who now lives in Italy. We had a wonderful tour of the company’s remarkable corporate building, designed by architect, Massimiliano Fuksas, and built in 2004. After our tour of the operation, we were able to try a small sample of the company’s product. The trip was a great experience, and a huge thanks goes out to Sharla and the Nardini staff for hosting our group.
