This past week, the Henry Fund and Krause Fund analysts presented their spring research to the respective advisory boards. The Henry Fund team delivered its investment analyses to their board last Friday (April 27th), and yesterday (April 30th), the Krause Fund teams had their moment in front of their own panel of industry professionals. As always, the students received tremendous feedback, and we will finalize our final portfolio rebalancing this week.
I wish to extend a huge thank you to those members of our respective advisory boards who were able to join us this past week:
- Henry Fund Board Members: Scott Hassenstab (AEGON USA), Jim Bethea (UI Foundation), Todd Nelson (Goldman Sachs), Marshall Bridges (Allsteel Inc.), and Michael Harmelink (State of Wisconsin Investment Board)
- Krause Fund Board Members: Eric Boucher (TransAmerica), Scott Pfeiler (Rockwell-Collins), Jessica Graham (Rockwell-Collins), John McClain (American Trust and Savings Bank), Catherine Zaharis (Tippie School of Management), Will Suess (FactSet Research Systems), Aaron Schaefer (Hills Bank & Trust), Kevin Readman (US Bancorp), and Jennifer Slabas (BMO Capital Markets)
The advisory boards for our student-managed investment funds are an important part of the educational process that our students experience. These individuals, many of whom are Tippie alums, donate their time and service to our students. I am truly thankful for all that they do to make the Henry Fund and Krause Fund programs a success.
