The University of Iowa's Tippie College of Business presents for the first time its Summer Internship Program in Madrid, Spain!

This unique opportunity is for undergraduate students who wish to expand their awareness of Spanish culture, enhance their language skills, and gain valuable professional skills by participating in a summer internship in the vibrant capitol city of Spain. In addition, business and pre-business students will earn six elective credits for their participation in the Madrid Summer Internship Program.

Nearly ten weeks in length, the Madrid Summer Internship program begins with a 3-day orientation to the city and the Spanish workplace. The orientation is then followed by a week-long intensive language class designed to advance your language skills and prepare you for the Spanish-speaking work environment. Immediately following the language course, your eight-week internship begins.

This program is not your typical study abroad program. It is a program for mature students who are seeking an experience that will provide both full language immersion and international work experience.
