About: Andy Stoll and Amanda Styron are the co-founders of Seed Here Studio and the Iowa City James Gang. Seed Here Studio is dedicated to discovering/helping entrepreneurs in the Iowa City/Cedar Rapids area. The Iowa City James Gang was named the Iowa City Press Citizen ‘Person of the Year’, as the group that had the largest impact on the community. Free food and refreshments will be provided.
David Hensley, Founder and president of Hensley’s Big and Tall, and Director of the John Pappajohn Entrepreneurial Center at The University of Iowa will be speaking Tonight, October 15th at 7:30 pm!
Tonight’s guest speaker will be David Hensley, the President and Founder of Hensley Group Ltd. He is also the Executive Director of the John Pappajohn Entrepreneurial Center and the Associate Vice President for UI Economic Development. He was a University of Iowa graduate and started his own business while attending school year. Come out and hear David speak about his entrepreneurial ventures, his work for the entrepreneurial program and to give you advice for anyone who is looking to start a business.

Tyler Finchum, founder of Farm Manuals Fast, will be speaking at our next meeting on Tuesday, October 8th at 7:30 pm!

Tyler Finchum is a student at the University of Iowa and the founder of Farm Manuals Fast. Farm Manuals Fast, which he started as a junior at Muscatine High School, sells manuals via the web for various types of farm equipment made by more than 20 companies. Now based at the University of Iowa John Pappajohn Entrepreneurial Center’s Bedell Entrepreneurship Learning Laboratory (BELL), the business just celebrated its second anniversary; in that time, he’s sold more than 5,000 manuals for farm implements to customers around the world.
