Alumni Volunteers – More than 500 Tippie graduates embrace the opportunity to help a fellow Tippie MBA and have volunteered to assist you. Company Contacts – We’ve been in touch with more than 1,000 company representatives over the years. If you want to speak with someone in a target organization and don’t know where to begin, Career Services is a great place to start. On-Line Recruiting – Our EXPO system manages electronic resume referrals and campus interviews for students and employers . Company Research Sources – Conduct company research on-line with industry-leading database tools such as Dun & Bradstreet, Standard & Poors, CareerSearch, and Lexis/Nexis. Practice Interviews – Hone your interviewing skills with outside consultants, career services professionals, and peers through the practice interview sessions. Tippie Resume Book – Published annually, this book is a great resource for employers to view resumes of Tippie students. It is distributed to approximately 300 employers throughout the country. Career Services Resource Center – A space dedicated to the MBA job search, the Center is equipped with computers, printers, job search books, and company research materials. How-to and Industry Guides – Covering topics such as letter writing, resume development, interviewing, job search strategies, negotiations, and networking, the guides also list 2,500 company profiles, and include 1,100 career advice articles. |
