At Tippie, we get to know each student personally. This lets us create an individualized program to help you achieve your aspirations. We can also make help available to you when you need it, in the way that makes the most sense for you.

Both our professional advising staff and our faculty are here to serve as resources: We offer individual advising on academic and professional matters, as well as special sessions on topics that are of interest to our students. We want you to thrive during your two years here, so our doors are always open.

Our academic-advising services include:

• Advice in selecting courses to meet your professional goals
• Free tutoring for first-year core courses
• A writing consultant to help you with written assignments and projects
• Referral information about resources available on campus and in the community
• Assistance in designing an individual concentration to best meet your professional goals
