Cedar Rapids Education and Conference CenterThe Dual Degree Master's Program courses are held at the Cedar Rapids Education and Conference Center. This facility includes classrooms, a computer lab, student lounge, and office/meeting spaces.

Hours

Hours are 8:00 a.m. to 9:30 p.m. Monday through Thursday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Friday, and 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Saturday when classes are in session.

Reception

A receptionist will be on duty during hours that the facility is open.

Parking

Parking is provided in the Town Centre ramp. Access to the ramp is from 4th Avenue. Students should have their parking permits stamped by the staff at the front desk.

Access to 221 Town Centre from the Town Centre Parking Ramp

Please enter the 221 Town Centre from the red (second floor) ramp level. Take the stairway down to the red door (second floor) entrance. You may not be able to access the building from other levels of the ramp.

In addition to classrooms, the Education and Conference Center includes a conference room, computer lab, lounge, offices and a reception area.

The lounge is equipped with vending machines serving beverages and snacks. This area also includes a coin-operated copy machine.

The reception area includes space to house books and other materials that faculty have placed on reserve for student use. The materials may be used within the facility during open hours.

Restrooms are located across the hall from the Education and Conference facility.

Telephones are available in the lobby area. They are toll-restricted, so you need to use a calling card for long distance phone calls.

Computer Resources

The facility includes a computer lab with 13 networked HP machines. A variety of programs are available. Town Centre Building Regulations

The Town Centre Building is a no-smoking environment. No bicycles may be brought into the building. No animals are allowed in the building.

Entrances to the building are locked at 7:00 p.m. You may exit the building after this time, but you will be unable to re-enter unless you have made arrangements with the receptionist.
