This is a list of the assignments for this term.
The assignments for thie semester will include the following items:

In Class Programming Assignments -- At some point in most classes, you will be asked to complete an assignment. You may consult with your partner on this assignment but have to complete it on your own and submit it in your individual dropbox. (2 points each)
Programming assignments -- There will be programming assingments made in most classes that you work on with your partner and submit in the dropbox as a team. Only one submission per team. (8 points each )
Project Assignment -- This assignment will be a project that you complete and present at the last class period. You may either do a project that automates something from your work or it will be to implement a case assignment where I will provide you the code. You will work as a team on this project. You will need to submit your Excel workbook with the code included as well as presentation slides into the project dropbox. Only one submission per team. (20 points each )
Excel Tip -- This is an extra credit item that you can submit a tip on something new in Excel or newly discovered on your part in Excel. Present it in class and you will receive points. Let me know in advance for approval of your tip. No student can submit more than one tip during the semester. (4 points)
Midterm Exam -- this exam will cover the material in the first part of the course. This exam will consist of some multiple choice questions and some programming questions. The test will be done in Excel. (26 points)
Final Exam -- This exam will be a comprehensive exam over all material in the course, but will be weighted somewhat towards the material covered after the midterm. (35 points) UpDate: The exam will be based on 4-5 questoins from a list of 10 questions that have been provided. The test will be worth 15 points. In addtion, you will receive up to 20 points for an exam review document that highlights code and procedures that you will find helpful in the future when you use Excel VBA.
