Tonight will be our second formal dinner at Hotel Fior in Castelfranco about a 30 minute bus ride from Paderno. Apparently at this dinner we have a cocktail hour before dinner begins with wine and appetizers. Since the first dinner was so good, I can not wait to eat some more great, authentic Italian food. Unfortunately, its pouring outside which does not make for good weather for formal wear.
This week has been busy busy. I’ve got a paper, test, and quiz before our second travel week. Which I’m glad to get it all done and over with before we head out for the next week. I have two friends coming to visit me, they’ll be arriving Friday in Venice and we’ll be touring Venice, Milan, Brussels, Amsterdam, Verona, and Bologna. This time I will be without the direction of my parents, and with two people that haven’t toured Europe before, so it’ll be an interesting experience! My mom is sending my friends with some yummy American snacks, I am having severe withdrawal from popcorn and pretzel snacks!
We’ll be getting on the bus to dinner shortly, this cocktail hour ordeal is supposed to take place outside in a heated tent, hopefully is stops raining so its not so wet outside! I’ll be sure to give full detail of what the menu entailed at dinner tonight later this week, not to make any jealous or anything… ciao!
