Director of Communications

Megan Derner

Megan Derner is from Okoboji, IA and is a junior management major and Spanish minor at the University of Iowa. As Director of Communications, Megan keeps all of the members of AMA up-to-date, keeps in contact with AMA headquarters in Chicago, and informs the members of any internship opportunities that are brought to her attention. She is the person to contact for any questions/concerns of the organization.

Outside of AMA, Megan is also a Morale Captain Assistant for Dance Marathon where she recruits and motivates dancers to fundraise money for children with cancer. Megan enjoys hanging out with her friends and family, spending time outdoors, and, of course, Hawkeye football!
