Tickets to the gala are $150 each and tables of 8 are available for $1500. Your ticket purchase supports the Tippie College of Business Excellence Fund.

A portion of each ticket is tax deductible ($75 of each $150 ticket; $900 of each $1500 table purchase). The UI Foundation will provide you with a receipt of your tax deductible contribution. We encourage people purchasing tables to consider providing a seat at your table for a deserving current Tippie student.

In 1858, the first course with business content was offered at The University of Iowa.

Since then, business education at Iowa has grown tremendously. Today, the Tippie College of Business has more than 39,000 living alumni, all of whom can credit this University for providing them with the training necessary to excel in the world of business.

Tippie alumni are all over the world and have enjoyed success in numerous fields. Some have become CEOs, some have enjoyed their success and retired early, and some are just starting their careers. But they all have something in common… a business degree from Iowa.

We are holding a gala on Friday, September 5, 2008, to bring together Iowa business alumni to celebrate this grand occasion. Join us at the Riverside Casino and Golf Resort for an unforgettable evening. Entertainment will be provided by Gentlemen of Leisure and you’ll have the opportunity to rub shoulders with Iowa business alumni from around the world. In addition, alumni can see the Hawkeyes take on Florida International University the next day at Kinnick Stadium.
